IPL 2016 has brought in a lot of excitement till now with two teams dominating the scenario. Gujarat Lions and Kolkata Knight Riders. But this is too early to comment anything. 29th April 2016 - Rising Pune Supergiants vs Gujarat Lions
There is another long list of matches that would continue till 29th May 2016.
Gujarat Lions have done a good job so far and they would love to continue the winning way. Their only issue could be over dependency on Aaron Finch. There should be a cover in case he fails and someone else clicks. So is the issue with Sunrisers Hyderabad and to an extent with Kolkata Knight Riders. SRH is too relied on Warner and KKR is too reliant on Gautam Gambhir.
Mumbai Indians have seen their ups and downs and they need to win a couple of matches in next few days. Too much of inconsistency may harm them in the long run. Rising Pune Supergiants haven't played too many matches yet. Hard to judge them but they haven't performed to their potential. Dhoni and his men need to win more very soon.
Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab ended up last year in the bottom half of points tally. They have been consistently under performing. They need to pull up their socks at the earliest before they find themselves almost eliminated.
Royal Challengers Bangalore needs a special mention due to its star studded squad. But somewhere they aren't making it look that way. With the likes of Kohli, Gayle, Watson and AB de Villiers, they are posting big totals. But they are somehow failing to defend those totals. The bowling department needs to play to its potential.
