England would hate to come back to the venue of Wellington where they suffered a big blow against New Zealand. They were bowled out for mere 123 runs and in return New Zealand chased the target in just 74 balls. No option, they land at the same venue this time facing the Asian powerhouse and last two world cup runner up team Sri Lanka.

England should ideally go ahead and grab this opportunity to erase that bad memory by registering a win against Sri Lanka. To do this England need to put a better batting performance. They have a good bowling line up but they need to be handed over with a decent total.

England managed a big return against Scotland when they scored 303 and won it comprehensively. Moeen Ali came to the rescue with a big ton and good bowling performance too. England fans would expect similar good performances from Morgan, Bell, Anderson, Woakes, Broad and Finn.

Sri Lanka lost their opening match to New Zealand but managed two wins against Afghanistan and Bangladesh. It is always good to see this team back in form as they have some good quality players like Sangakkara, Jayawardene, Angelo Mathews, Dilshan, Malinga, Kulasekara and many more to name.

The second match is a really important one for Pakistan. Played two and lost two - this team is badly looking for a win and keeping their hopes alive in the world cup. Pakistan faces Zimbabwe - a team that is in no mood to hand over easy wins to test nations.

Misbah, Pakistan captain has agreed that after receiving a huge criticism due to defeats against India and West Indies, it has been extremely hard to keep up the spirits of the team. All they need now is a big win to regain their winning ways.

The pitch at Gabba would have pace and bounce but equal opportunity to score runs. Zimbabwe have come up with a decent show so far but the thing that has harmed them the most is their death overs bowling. All they need to do is content the likes of Misbah, Akmal and Afrida in the death overs to restrict Pakistani team to a lower total.

Let us see which two teams emerge as winners and strengthen their chances of registering a berth in the quarter finals.
