New Zealand vs Sri Lanka 2015 World Cup match:

We couldn't have asked for a better start to the 11th edition of the world cup where co-hosts New Zealand will lock horns with the Asian powerhouse Sri Lanka in the tournament opener. The match live telecast begins at 3.30am India time.

New Zealand are at the peak of their life time form with good number of wins in recent past. Apart from the good form they also enjoy friendly conditions and home crowd support. With a group of confident youngsters, the Black Caps are one of the strongest contenders to lift the trophy.

Sri Lanka were white washed in an ODI series in India. Since then they have seen a lot of gloomy days. Since December 2014, they lost test and ODI series in New Zealand. Followed by this they lost two warm up matches, one of which came against Zimbabwe!

Australia vs England 2015 World Cup match:

Here comes a big one! Hosts Australia take on arch rivals England at Melbourne Cricket Ground. This ensures quality cricket. Last time these two teams locked horns in the finals of Cartlon Mid Tri Series. Australia comprehensively pocketed the match and topped the ICC ODI rankings, thus pushing defending champions India on second position.

Although Australia has a dominating stats against England, captain Bailey believes it all starts from zero in a one-off tie! He agrees that England team have had seen some great changes in the team and they have gained good momentum. Morgan as a captain is leading from front and striking runs. Ian Bell is consistent and so is Moeen Ali. England has a good bowling attack that matches Australian standards too. With the likes of Anderson, Broad, Finch and Woakes; England can halt the winning march of Australia.

Australia are fore front favourites to win the world cup. Now it all depends on how hard they play. Michael Clarke will be rested for the first match. James Faulkner will miss first few matches until he proves his fitness. George Bailey would led the team in Clarke's absence. Johnson looks a bit out of form but once he gets going, he would be hard to face. Starc has emerged as one of the most dangerous bowlers in the ODI scenario. Australia can suffice with part time spinners such as Maxwell, Smith, etc. and add an extra pacer to the line up. We can see their might in the batting line up with Warner, Finch, Maxwell, Bailey, Watson and it extends right till Johnson and Starc.
