The official broadcaster of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Star India; has announced that the even will be available in six languages Hindi, English, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Tamil. This is the first time that a cricket event would be covered in six different languages in India. The last edition was limited to Hindi and English commentary. To add to the fun, likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Kapil Dev, Shoaib Akhtar, etc would entertain the fans with live Hindi commentary. 
A bigger announcement for HD cricket telecast fans. Star Sports has come up with two new HD channels Star Sports HD3 and HD4 along with their ongoing HD channels viz. HD1 and HD2. Star Sports HD3 will be a dedicated live Hindi commentary telecast channel.
Along with the live commentary and Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali cricket fans can also watch live streaming of cricket world cup 2015 on Star Sports official website www.starsports.com. World Cup 2015 kicks off from 14th February 2015. Don't forget to tune into the live telecast and streaming of warm up matches on Star Sports from 8th February 2015.


Star Sports has also launched a youth centric campaign #wontgiveitback for the world cup. This campaign is created by Lowe Lintas + Partners which reflects the sentiments of Indian youth who won't like to give the world cup back to any other cricketing nation. 'Won't give it back' is a message to the Indian cricket team to retain the world cup.
