After a lot of exciting finishes, we are into the second Super Sunday of Pepsi IPL 2015. Two real big matches for the day - Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. Watch IPL 2015 live streaming on Star Sports and HotStar live mobile streaming app. Watch live telecast on Sony Six, Set Max and Sony Pix with live Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali and English commentary.
The first match is real biggie as it features the two table toppers. Chennai Super Kings placed on second position with two lesser points and one match less played have full chance to replace Rajasthan Royals in the points tally. Venue is Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad which is the adopted home ground of Rajasthan Royals.
Rajasthan Royals have won four matches in absence of their regular skipper Shane Watson. Steve Smith is doing a brilliant job with the bat as well as the captaincy. Ajinkya Rahane who looked silent at the start of this IPL has now started scoring match winning runs. Faulkner, Deepak Hooda and Steve Smith have already provided match winning performances earlier. If Watson returns to the team, he will add more strength to the RR line up.
Chennai Super Kings have been the most successful team in the IPL history. They simply know how to clinch victories in toughest of situations. This time they are comfortably placed in points tally with three straight wins. Last one against Mumbai Indians was an emphatic win. Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith went all guns blazing against the Mumbai bowlers. Suresh Raina also joined the party. R Ashwin and Ishwar Pandey are doing a decent job while Ashish Nehra has two Man of the Match awards to his name.
The other match tonight will feature Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. This promises to be a high scoring game as both the teams have big hitters. With the likes of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard and Corey Anderson, one can definitely expect flurry of sixes.
Venue for this match is M Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru. RCB lost their last match at home. They would be eying a big win over Mumbai Indians who are the weakest so far in this competition. Chris Gayle who is the top run getter for RCB so far would eye another big knock at home. AB de Villiers is also due for a big one.
Rohit Sharma has consistently scored big but somehow his team has failed to do well in tandem in all three departments. If they score big, their bowling or fielding doesn't click. If their bowlers do well, their batsmen fail. Its good to see their ace Kieron Pollard doing well with bat in last two innings. Even Harbhajan is clinching wickets and comes in handy with the bat.
Overall we have two tight matches on our hand. An update for T20 lovers, tune into Star Sports in April 2016 for T20 World Cup 2016 live streaming.
