Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab - IPL 2015 Match 50

Royal Challengers Bangalore seek another win tonight to move one step ahead towards playoffs berth. They travel to Mohali to face the 'out of form' home team Kings XI Punjab. Although KXIP posted good totals in last few matches to 'spoil other's parties', but in the end they faced losses. They will give another shot to gain some pride tonight back home against the mighty RCB.

It has been three long weeks, the Kings haven't won a single match. They were the runners-up in the last edition, but this time they are almost through their matches and they haven't yet found form. Bowling started off well but it lost its way. Batting didn't click much in the start but somehow it has been on track in last few matches. Kings XI posted two 180 plus scores in last two outings.

Considering the pitch and even the hard hitting batting line ups, we may expect loads of runs tonight. Indirectly we can term this as the match that showcases most destructive batsmen one would see in T20 cricket. With the likes of AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, David Miller and Glenn Maxwell, the bowlers need to be ready for some nightmares at Mohali.

In the last match involving these two teams, Royal Challengers Bangalore emerged as clear winners. They posted 200 plus score thanks to a quick ton from Chris Gayle. He delighted the crowd with his 57 balls 117 runs that consisted of 12 towering sixes. Kings XI in reply were bowled out under the score of 100!

With some good form and the best scoring rate in this IPL so far, we expect RCB to have an upper hand today. RCB has played 11 matches and earned 13 points. A win here will take them to the third position in the points table.

Kings XI Punjab has nailed nine matches against RCB while the other has won six. But considering the current form we can consider RCB as the favourites tonight. Let us see who emerges as the winner here at Mohali tonight.
