India vs South Africa Live Streaming Information
T20 series went South Africa's way and its time now for India to save some pride and show their skills in the ODI series. India lock horns with South Africa in the 1st ODI at Kanpur. The embarrasing loss of the T20 series would still be playing on the minds of Indian cricketers. Time to forget it and move on! Watch India vs South Africa 1st ODI live streaming and telecast on HotStar and Star Sports HD network with live Hindi and English commentary.

Before previewing the 1st ODI, let us look back at the head to head records between these two countries. Out of 71 ODI matches played between India and South Africa, India could manage 26 wins while South Africa clinched 42 matches. Three matches ended without any result. The most recent match between India and South Africa was played at MCG in the World Cup 2015. India scored 307 runs with Dhawan scoring 137. In reply South Africa were bowled out for just 177. Ashwin took three wickets while Shami and Mohit took two each.

Ashwin has been a pick of the bowlers so far for India. While all the other bowlers were leaking runs, Ashwin managed to put pressure on South African batsmen and take wickets in the Paytm T20 trophy. He badly needs good support from the other end. It all depends on what Dhoni plans for the ODI series. He might bring in Stuart Binny or Amit Sharma to strengthen the bowling attack.

Rohit Sharma looked brilliant in the first T20 with a sparkling century. Kohli seemed to be getting back in his groove. All other batsmen looked out of touch. Before its too late, the team needs to find the right combination.

The venue, Green Park has been renewed and it will host an International cricket match after two years. This stadium was established in 1945 and the seating capacity is of around 45,000. The last ODI played here was in 2013 between India and West Indies. West Indies scored 263 and India chased the total in the 47th over, thanks to a ton from Shikhar Dhawan.

Indian fans and we too hope that Indian team puts up a fight here at Kanpur in the first ODI. All we can do is wait and watch it live on Star Sports and HotStar.
