India vs South Africa 2nd T20 Live Streaming HotStar and Star Sports

This would sound unusual for Indian cricket team and fans that the home team has started kicked off a series on a losing note. That proves how determined and strong the South Africans are. After being handed over a loss in the 1st T20 at Dharamsala, Dhoni and his men would play South Africa today at Cuttack in the 2nd T20 match. Watch India vs South Africa 2nd T20 live streaming and telecast on Star Sports HD and HotStar mobile app with live Hindi and English commentary.

India team managed to score a total as big as 199 at Dharamsala. Rohit Sharma, the captain of IPL champions Mumbai Indians showcased his worth with a big ton. He scored 106 and broke the record of Suresh Raina for highest individual score by any Indian batsmen in T20 International cricket. Virat Kohli supported him well with an individual score of 43.

The Indian bowlers, sans R Ashwin were ineffective against the powerful batting line up of South Africa. AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla laid a beautiful foundation while JP Dumminy capitalised on it in the later half. They scored 200 with two balls to spare. This defeat will certainly put the Indian team under immense pressure.

MS Dhoni who retired from test cricket haven't seen too many good days in the recent past. The team exited from the 2015 World cup in the semi finals. CSK, the IPL franchise he plays for has faced a ban of two years. He needs to gather his thoughts and game plans to take the team on winning ways again. With a lot of cricket ahead this season including the big Asia Cup and ICC T20 World Cup 2016, he has to get the combination right for the team.

The big question the cricket fans would be, will Dhoni drop Axar Patel and include someone like Amit Mishra? Ideally he should do that. Axar Patel has better hitting capability in the death overs. But Amit Mishra can be lethal with R Ashwin to curtail score of the opposition.

Indian team has been deprived of T20 International matches since its inception. Shall we blame too much of T20 cricket in IPL for that? Well, time for some reality check. India has to get used to this format very soon or they won't be impressive at home in the T20 World Cup 2016.
