India vs South Africa 5th ODI Live Streaming

The change in ODI rules and some sporting wickets in the Paytm ODI series has brought life into the game. Tracks aren't very flat and rule changes have given bowlers an opportunity to prove their worth. We can see an even tussle between bat and ball and hence tight matches! With series leveled at 2-2, any team can go on and win the series. India have lost some very close encounters and last win must now have boosted a lot of confidence into the team. On the other hand, South Africa is struggling with some injury issues and in the midst of right combination confusion! Watch India vs South Africa 5th ODI live streaming and telecast on HotStar and Star Sports HD network with live Hindi and English commentary.

Two of the finest batsmen of cricketing history, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli were at their prime in the last ODI. They are neck to neck in almost all cricket records and treat for the crowd when they hit the ball hard and right. In the 4th ODI, Virat's 138 proved bigger for AB de Villier's 112. If a batsmen or two from South Africa would have supported AB de Villiers, the story would have been something else.

The good part for the Indian team was Virat's century and Raina's half ton. It was good to see Virat timing the ball so well and Raina back in form too! Rohit Sharma was hitting the ball well but he left early. He is in good touch. If Shikhar Dhawan gets back to his hard hitting way and Indian batsmen can capitalise in the death overs, the team is certain to clinch the series.

Rahane is consistent as ever. Dhoni looks struggling when he bats but that is how the ODI cricket has changed after the rule modifications. Five fielders in the outer circle has given an added advantage to the bowlers and batsmen can't hit too many boundaries. The only option to score quickly is by clearing the boundaries comfortably.

David Miller's form seems to be a concern for the visiting team. The team is also missing the services of JP Duminy and Morkel. Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada are doing a great job with new and old ball. Dean Elgar might make a way into the playing XI replacing David Miller.

Talking about the venue, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is always full of enthusiastic cricket fans. Especially fans here would expect a big knock from the Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma. The humidity and heat would be high and that would be another test for the cricketers.
