India vs Australia 5th ODI Live Streaming 2016

While there are many records being created and broken, team India still looks lost somewhere. Not in terms of good performances but in terms of that 'missing' killer instinct. Doesn't this team remind of the Indian team in 90s that used to lose the close encounters? Sometimes it does! After a heart breaking loss in the 4th ODI, India will face the unbeatable Australian team in the 5th ODI at Sydney. Watch live match streaming and telecast on Star Sports HD and HotStar mobile app.

Although Australia has nailed wins in all the four matches so far, they didn't have an easy ride. Indians batted well in each of the matches scoring 300 plus scores (batting first and second). Wayward bowling and below par fielding costed India the matches. First two matches went till the death overs. Third match too wasn't that easy for Australia. Fourth ODI should have been easily pocketed by India. But a shocking debacle in the end brought an unexpected win for Australia.

Australian captain Smith was encouraged with the team performance. He appreciated the way Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan batted. But the never give up attitude of Australian team was something that highly impressed him. He is sure the team would not lose its way in the final ODI and the hunger to win the last one would be there.

MS Dhoni agreed that his wicket was the turning point. Everything was in India's favour till he got out. Wickets tumbled after that. Even though the requirement was almost run a ball, the youngsters couldn't handle the pressure and handed over the Australians a win which they didn't expect.

While critics now have a stronger opinion against Dhoni's captaincy, Mike Hussey came to his rescue. Chennai Super Kings colleague Hussey still backs Dhoni to continue as the captain for team India. Adding to his comment he said, cricket has changed in last few years. Bowlers have got smarter. It's not easy for any batsman to come out and start hitting the ball from the word go. He also showered some words of praise for Umesh Yadav, Rishi Dhawan and Ishant Sharma.

Update: India wins the last ODI to bring some confidence back before the T20 series against Australia. Meanwhile, in middle east; the much awaited MCL 2020 kicks off soon and so does Under 19 cricket world cup 2016 in Bangladesh. Watch MCL 2020 live streaming on Sony Six and Sony Liv.
