The full schedule for the T20 world cup 2016 matches is available here.

The sixth edition of T20 world cup will begin with eight teams battling out in the qualifiers. This serves a great opportunity for the associates and minnows to leave an imprint on the proceedings. The T20 world cup history has been full of upsets, be it Zimbabwe beating Australia in the 2007 version or Bangladesh beating West Indies in the same year.

Bangladesh have played 18 matches in five editions but won only three. As far as the win-loss ratio is concerned Netherlands tops the chart within these teams. They have won four matches out of total nine games.

Since last T20 world cup, Afghanistan have won 13 out of 16 matches which looks outstanding. These numbers prove how exciting even the group qualifier matches would be.

The top eight teams that have already qualified for the T20 world cup 2016 are all class apart. India has suddenly climbed up the ladder of ICC T20 rankings. They have won almost every single game they have played in last few months. Their only loss came against Sri Lanka at Pune.

West Indies as a T20 team is always a surprise package. But the squad is plagued with lot of injuries. Sri Lanka are the defending champions but they look out of form. Pakistan too is a team always full of surprises but similar to Sri Lanka they don't look in form. Both Sri Lanka and Pakistan were eliminated in the recently concluded Asia Cup whereas Bangladesh ran passed both the teams to reach the finals with India.

Australia is always a strong unit and the team to beat. Same is the case with South Africa. New Zealand is always a stronger outfit when it comes to T20 format. England too can bring up some surprises when it comes to big events.

Overall, the T20 world cup 2016 promises to be a great cricketing affair. Tumbling wickets and towering sixes is all we can expect out of it.
