India must be fearing an early elimination from the T20 World Cup 2016. Currently they are placed at number 1 in the ICC T20 rankings and they are also the favourites to win the trophy according to the current form. The big loss against New Zealand has put a lot of pressure on the Indian team.

Pakistan faced Bangladesh in their opening match and they registered a big win. So their confidence would be high at this moment. They have never managed to beat India in an ICC event. So they would be all geared up to take on the under-pressure Indian team at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Pakistan skipper Afridi led by example in the last match. He scored 49 runs from 19 balls and also clinched 2 wickets. He was declared Man of the Match. The team would expect similar performance from him again.

India has a slight edge over Pakistan in terms of strong batting line up and spin department. While Pakistan's quickies department looks slightly better. One point to be noted, Pakistan has never lost to India in ODI matches at the Eden Gardens.

While numbers, current form, head to head stats and home conditions favour India, an early loss against New Zealand and the pressure to stay alive in the tournament may help Pakistan capitalise on the situation.
